The Emerald Armada are a 5 piece alternative/irish folk band from Belfast, Northern Ireland.
They come to Altitude with a wealth of experience from touring with acts like Hayseed Dixie, Newton Faulkner and Frightened Rabbit and are ready to show the Blackdown hills what they’re really made of. With many shows in Ireland under their belt, they are more than ready to spread their upbeat and exciting music to England and what a better place to start that with all of us in Blackborough.
The band was formed by Neil Allen and long time friend Gary Lynas, before bringing the final three members – Benjamin Hamilton, Dermot Moynagh and Tom McHugh – into the mix. Their show is set to be an exciting one suggested by anecdotes about past shows.
