Grandpapayellaman has been DJing across Bristol since 1999 and became a founder member of the Detectives of Perspective (DOP) DJ collative from the clubnight’s inception in 2001. Over the years he has played alongside and supported some of the world’s finest DJs and artists including DJ Cheeba, DJ Shadow, Cut Chemist, Bonobo, Steinski, Coldcut, Hexstatic, DJ Food and DK, Luke Vibert, DJ Krush, DJ Kentaro, Roots Manuva and many many more.

DOP were for a time in charge of the world’s only Solid Steel / Ninja Tune residency in Bristol and Gpapas eclectic mix of breaks and drum and bass is guaranteed to set any dancefloor alight.
