We are super stoked to be bringing together London’s Fizzy Gillespie and Bristol’s Mr Fitz to Altitude 23’ for an exclusive b2b four deck headline show. Hold tight!!

Fizzy Gillespie is a DJ & Producer best known for his mashup style, seamlessly sampling the sounds of musical eras from the past and crossing them over with modern beats and bass; being best known for his unique blend of Drum’n’Bass infused with 1920s to 70s samples! He is a vibe engineer and a purveyor of strictly good times. Fizzy is also known for his work as a promoter and programmer, working as Head of Music & Events for London based music venue Hootananny Brixton as well as being the founder of event brand and label, Swing & Bass.

Mr Fitz, is known to serve a mashup of Funk and Hip-Hop while dipping his tip into others genres such as Jungle, Breaks, Ghetto Funk and Drum and Bass. With some turntablism, nudity and scratches he’s capable of anything from a laidback l’ambiance to a drug fuelled barn dance.

Captain Flatcap

The Captain’s DJ sets are centred around Vintage Remix, fusing old school sounds of Swing, Funk & Disco with modern day Dance Music genres like House, Dubstep, Drum n’ Bass and other bass heavy genres. The Captain also incorporates live flute into his DJ sets!

Captain Flatcap has supported The Freestylers, A.Skillz, The Correspondents, Dutty Moonshine, Chris Tofu, The Swingrowers, Odjbox, The Electric Swing Circus, Too Many T’s, Father Funk & many more.

Filthy Dirty DISCO

They are back!!! We’re really excited to see the return of the FDD Southwest DJ collective to Altitude 23’. They bring a much-needed injection of mixed-up, mashed-up, maxed out music wherever they go. With an indecent predisposition to genre-hopping, a disregard for purity and a party smashing attitude, prepare yourself for adulterated fun and serious dancing. Forged on the dancefloors of Devon, FDD bonded over a love of music and a desire to create their own party vibe wherever they play. A firm favourite of the festival circuit, 2022 saw them grace the decks at Glastonbury, Shambala, Beautiful Days and Lindisfarne festivals alongside their regular nights in Exeter. Filthy Dirty Disco deliver a locked in dancefloor, and hands-in-the-air atmosphere. Prepare to get filthy! FILTHY FUNK, DIRTY HOUSE AND DISCO-TECH 



Altitudes resident DJ and Electric Avenue organisers’ high energy bass driven tune selection will certainly ignite the festival weekend. He’s been DJing out and about since 1999 and became a founder member of Bristol’s legendary Detectives of Perspective (DOP) DJ collative back in 2001. Over the years he graced the decks alongside some of the world’s finest DJs including Cheeba, DJ Shadow, Cut Chemist, Bonobo, Steinski, Coldcut, Hexstatic, DJ Food & DK, Luke Vibert, Krush, Kentaro, Roots Manuva and The Quemists. Expect an eclectic mix of deep heavy party bass, old school, breaks & remixes all tied up with a DnB / jungle twist!! 




Multi-instrumentalist and self-described synth obsessive Tom Wilding is equally at home in soaring orchestral arrangements and electronic dance floor bangers. Now, after two decades of producing and releasing Artists music behind the scenes, he is striking out on his own with his latest solo act, Wildb0y, where he brings together wide ranging influences to share his innovative take on Progressive, Melodic, Deep House & Techno.


Filthy Mitts

Hold-tight for a quick-fire, party-banging, turntabletastic 4 deck show from the Devon based Filthy Mitts crew. This DJ duo, made up of local lads, Madbeats & Jef Showbiz, will be mashing up, scratching, and juggling their way through an eclectic mix of heavy weight musical genres. They’ve supported the likes of the Scratch Perverts, DJ Yoda, Cut Chemist, Dizzee Rascal to name a few and their performance will be as entertaining to eyes as it is to the ears.

Biggles’ Sounds

Brothers Gavyn and Alex Upham are Biggles’ Sound, reggae and dub DJ/Producers from Bath. They are all about the peace & love vibes and are vocal supporters of Bath Against Racism. Expect a full-on roots journey from these selectors and purveyors of extremely high quality reggae music. 



After starting out in 2019 this Plymouth based DJ/Producer Duo have rapidly become a big name in the Southwest underground music scene. Their eclectic, high energy sets, provide a brand-new flavour of house music, which will keep you dancing right from the start. They have played alongside the likes of Danny Howard, Will Clark & Sorley at some of the best venues and festivals in the Southwest, including Boardmasters & The Depo. Expect a big year in 23’, with the duo back in the studio, working hard on new originals and epic remixes.



Puzluv are Minimal/Tech House DJs/Producers who have been rocking dancefloors since 2019. They play across the Southwest and love to mix up their sets between old school and new school, bringing the party wherever they go.


Henry The Eighth

DJing for over 20 years with residencies held in the UK and Ibiza and past appearances at Ministry of Sound, numerous festivals, clubs and bars in the Southwest. Henry plays many styles to keep you moving and grooving including house, breaks and tech.



Dave Moore

Dave Moore (Disco Dave), house DJ extraordinaire, Club Promoter and the creator of Recharged, has gained a great deal of experience and exposure playing at some huge festivals, promotions, venues, that include, Glastonbury Festival, Yarty Party Music Festival, Love Summer Festival, Grinagog Festival, Hidden Retreat Festival, Devon Sessions, Ministry Of Sound London, Dark Knights and many more. 

Alex Palmer

Alex has been on the scene for 3 years now and the last 6 months have taken off like he’d never imagined! With a mixture of House, Techno and Breaks he has rallied up gigs at Magic Hatstand, Yarty Party, Love Summer, supported Krafty Kuts and Phutek at his own Caption Events night, which are now in full flow! Excitingly he is making his IBIZIA debut in September amongst many other bookings which are flying in!!!


This self-proclaimed “festival kid” has loved raving and bouncing to the bass for as long as he can remember, growing up amongst the speakers and tents from day 1. After last year’s mind-blowing support, he is absolutely buzzing to get behind the decks again at Altitude 2023!! He’s going to be dropping some Drum & Bass bangers that will get you up on your feet and partying through the night!! 



Main man Jody Owen has been blowing up parties and destroying dance floors as Watchman for years. Tune in and check him mix, mash, cut and scratch his way through a mind melting selection of music. Expect funk, brass, reggae, hip-hop, breaks, house and jungle all tied together with a big ass bass music bow.


Nina LoVe (competition winner)

Music has always been an integral part of Nina’s life; with a Classical background and lots of time raving in Bristol’s 90’s Jungle / UKG scenes, Nina finally took to the decks in 2015.Starting on vinyl and then going digital, Nina discovered her passion for all things House & Garage. Over the past 5 years, Nina has made a name for herself, bringing funky, uplifting vibes with plenty of passion and energy to the party. She’s supported some big names including Dave Pearce, Judge Jules, Seb Fontaine, Ali Whitehead, Jon Pleased Wimmin, Danny Clockwork & Todd Terry.


DeFunkT (competition winner)

Moved to sunny Devon from Salford in 2017 and when lockdown hit, Defunkt decided to put his extensive record collection to good use by learning to mix. Having always loved funk, soul, breaks & hip hop, expect to hear an all vinyl set of big hitting, sample laden, beaty goodness, which all comes with a definite old school vibe. Old school yes, but definitely not Defunkt!


Bob Dubious

Bob has been damaging dancefloors professionally for over 15 years. He was part of the crew that held a residency in popular Bristol club Mr Wolfs, with the longest running monthly night at the time, Pick Up The Pieces. He has played at clubs and numerous festivals across the UK (including Big Chill, Sunrise Celebration and Upfest) and now has a residency at Whiskers in his hometown, Newquay, Cornwall.



From bars to night clubs to festivals, Madbeats is one of the finest UK party crowd rockers on the wheels of steel. He always serves up an unmistakable multi genre mix of stone-cold classics and turntable trickery, which will guarantee the party is more prankster than gangster. 


Jef Showbiz

Inspired by the likes of A Skillz and Krafty Kuts, Jef will be performing a lovingly selected set of party rocking tunes, smoothly mixing and cutting his way through the funk, hip hop, bass, disco and reggae vibes. With over 20 years in the game and a love for the art, he guarantees to get the crowd grooving and smiling. 


Heavy Stylus

An explosive amalgamation of Jamaican roots, hip hop, beats, heavy soul, breaks and blaxploitation ghetto-funk. He’s been rocking the dance around 20 years in various bars and clubs across the Southwest and has supported a wide range of acts and artists including Jelly Jazz, Boca 45, Andy Smith, Quantic, Craig Charles, DJ Food, Bonobo, Gilles Peterson, Ugly Duckling and DJ Format.

With an mp3 collection as long as your arm, Crabbman plays an eclectic mix of party bangers from Chas’n’Dave to Chase’n’Status and everything in-between – keep your ears peeled for random film clips and air raid sirens. His 80’s party mix is not to be missed!
