‘Devon’s little festival with the big heart ‘

‘The first Altitude took place in a neighbour’s field inn 2015, with 500 like-minded people with a lust for life, good times and a passion for original quality music. Since then we have grown, but still feel we have maintained a super-friendly vibe to the festival, laid back by day and seriously fired up and ready for anything by night.

Our vision was to bring new emerging independent music of all genres to the Blackdown Hills for everyone to enjoy, that would not only bring the local community together but also bring in others to come and enjoy what the local area has to offer.

Altitude is a lot of hard work and sometimes a rollercoaster but we love it and hope you do to – when you come along, make sure you say hello to us!

Altitude is organised and run by Devon Rural Events, a Community Interest Company that is not-for-profit and is driven by the desire to see the countryside come to life with cultural events, music and all the talent that rural life is so full of. We are proud to have a history of supporting local projects and charities so that the community around us can benefit – it’s also why we work so closely with businesses and organisations on our doorstep since we feel that in doing so we collectively contribute to the local economy and cultural vibe. We love making good things happen and doing it together!!!
